It's definitely a Rattle Me Bones type game. There's different versions made by several different companies. But I've not seen one with a working lantern before though. Pretty coolLeave a comment:

Garage sale find, I really like this guy. It says Toy State, made in China on the bottom. It's missing something, I'm guessing a treasure chest to go under his legs. It's sound activated, the lantern lights and he swings back and forth and talks ("Sixteen men on a dead man's chest, Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum"). If anyone has a picture of a complete one or any information I would like to know more about it. Thanks.
The closest thing I'm finding is the Rattle Me Bones game but it is different in several ways.Last edited by mike binion; Jul 4, '14, 10:41 PM.Leave a comment:

Confirmed: The brown boot is a regular Steve Scout (or Craig Cub) shoe. The light tan boots and snow shoes are Steve Scout winter accessories. The red tank with mouth breather is another Steve Scout item (I think it is from the "Danger at Snake River" accessory pack).
I acquired what appaers to be a twin to that vinyl jacket on a random Action Jackson figure -- it had an unpleasant odor and was falling apart, so it went straight into the trash. I realize that is only partially useful information.
Having said all that, I wish I were able to confirm that the gasoline can comes from the Steve Scout "Mystery Midnight Arson Merit Badge" accessory pack, but no such thing exists. Yet.Leave a comment:

Can anyone ID what looks to be an M16 gun barrel in this pic? Having an issue with pic upload on the board.
Thanks!Leave a comment:

The knife looks like a vintage GI Joe bayonette. It would be xtra special if it has "Japan" stamped on the blade.Leave a comment:

Okay ...
I have this weird memory from about 1975 to 77.
I had an action figure that I cut a hole in his arm, stuck some play doh into the hole and squeezed in the Six Million Dollar Man's arm bionic module that I got off some kid.
This was my feeble attempt at making a bionic man as I never did get a real one.
Given that I was 6 or 7ish I will assume the action figure was blow molded otherwise how could I have cut a hole? And I am guessing 12" but could have been smaller.
So, what dude was for sale in Canada around that time that was basically a GI Joe knock off / cheap imitation?
I have no recollection on what his face looked like.

They had rubber arms with wire armature so you could've done surgery on him. In Canada, the 1st issue Fighting Yanks were issued as "Johnny Canuck". I would love to find a boxed example of this to add to my collection!
I kept thinking Action Jackson but I know that's wrong. But now that you mention Fighting Yank Brian ... I am thinking maybe Mr. Action?
I also remeber trying to put a scuba suit on him from another one and it was too tight and wouldn't go all the way on and had to be cut off by my Mom.
However on these 2 figures the arms are not rubber like Fighting Yank, they are a hard plastic much like a Mego figures body. Hope this helps!Last edited by convoy357; Jan 12, '14, 8:21 AM.Leave a comment:
