Anyone recognize this guy? No markings anywhere.

Yes. Yes that's very cool. I'm still thinking of buying one today. A friend had one, I somehow missed getting the Fortress Of Fangs.

Also skipped the U.S.S. Flagg and Star Wars Star Destroyer.

I suppose the Death Star was what got me hooked on playsets.

It would be great to design a playset some time.

    Thanks, Gzilla2000!

I never would have thought what the name was without the photograph.

I fully remember now, but don't know the individual robot characters, because the base was probably used mostly for G.I. Joe and Star Wars.

    It still looks pretty cool.

A good time period for playsets.

Those cowboys look like Bat Masterson, but maybe they weren't that small. I noticed a Cobra frogman type in there...

Anyway. I found a lot of really good vintage toys on eBay, including 70's water games.

One thing that I want to find a photo on is:

A large white mountain folding playset, 1980's, with a bubble on top that rotated into a gun turret. It may have been for robot figures. Science-fiction adventure fun.

    Thanks!

P.S. 'Dragonriders of the Styx' carded movable action figures are fantastic! I saw'em online too.

I think it's Dynagirl the female part of the Dynaman toyline. It was a Gijoe type figure from 1970s.

AIRFIX made a flying bird toy in the early/mid 70's.

Also, what are the possible choices for 'matchbox' size metal spaceships with little plastic seats?

TOOTSIETOY made die cast/plastic 'matchbox-type' spaceships in the 70's.

Who made those hard green and yellow balls that clanged together on a string?

    Various toy companies made Clickety-Clacks.

    Fantastic and interesting!

It's good to explore these toys.

    Thanks.

    Oh! Updated Information:

I was just inside the 80's playset thread.

I remember the gargoyles and ogres so the blue knights
    should come from these beauties:

Looks like the fire creatures too.

Reminds me of Godzilla playset, anyone have a picture of it's box cover?

I should get a good camera and produce a photo book of all these toys, complete with fold-outs. The collector books don't cut it. (like Trek price-guides)
