I'm pretty sure that's the first time it was used, of course it was in the Mouth of Doom set too, but that was in 1969.It's lovely to see those in detail, thank you. So, I suppose the trooper rifle is the first appearance of the popular AT rifle?
I love the Aquanaut, I made a blue version before the Club released a proper one. He and The Mouth of Doom explorer are probably my favorite Joes.Leave a comment:

Thanks! I've had a few State Troopers over the years, it's a great set. I'm still missing one ticket and my glasses are broken. I'm probably not going to be able to complete him as it's just too pricey now and I'm just ok with it.
I had a loose motorcycle, but it was so darn fragile I was worried I'd damage it further. The plastic used turned quite brittle and lots of these just didn't survive. I actually traded to Matt, the guy that runs the Vintage 3D Joes site, so parts of that one on there is probably my old one? I think his heat stamp figure on there is my old one as well as.
My favorites are my early figures, the unclothed one on the left is my early heat stamp figure, and the one standing next to him is a full brass early one wearing the cloth ammo and green camo radio. My second favorites are probably the Adventure's of 1969 figures, the red top boxes. I was able to get an original Aquanaut a few years ago. That's probably one of the hardest coffin box figures to get and super cool too.
Here's an older picture of both State Troopers(glasses are newer, the handcuffs I sweated it even hanging them on the belt as they break just looking at them), and yes the AA figure is original, as are all of the AA's you see in the overall picture on those shelves.

Thanks! So nice to see the real deal, mine are all repros,
The State trooper is sharp; I've only seen him on Vintage 3D Joes. Do you have his cycle?
I have my Club Air Security on a Joe with a dress AF uniform, adding a vintage air police field phone.Last edited by PNGwynne; Jan 25, '26, 11:24 AM.Leave a comment:

I got this boxed all original and complete 1979 Alien right before the end of the year. Figure is minty, came with the original insert and poster as well.
Love these! I do have a sickness about Alien as you can see from the second picture below...
