Not sure if this qualifies as classic, or toy, but it is about the only thing close that I have bought in a while.

It's from 1987, so it is 24 years old.

It's a bank, that seems to borrow heavily from the Aurora Prehistoric Scenes tyrannosaurus rex.

Nice, I have a small collection of those. I have the Jewel Thief and all the Conan figures except for Devourer of Souls.

That was my very first GI Joe I received for Christmas back in '70, but mine came in the talker box. Still have the original figure but his talker is blown and I've had to piece the outfit back together and house him in a really well made repro box (cardboard stock). Great memories.

    Heroes Of The American Revolution

    s-l1600.jpg
I just closed this deal to get 2 sets of the Heroes Of The American Revolution ReMego figures still in the boxes.

    Nathan Hale
    Paul Revere
    Patrick Henry
    Thomas Jefferson
    Daniel Boone
    George Washington
    John Paul Johns
    Benjamin Franklin
    Marquis de Lafayette

The bonus I only paid a little more than what they cost when they were first released in the 70's.

My plain is to first take pics of the best of the two boxes and then open the other to take pics of those figures.

I remember having the first wave of x-men when they came out. Couldn't pass up getting them again.

One of my favorite GI Joes. I just got one put together myself. Well mostly. Mine was a wonderful talker, in fine condition. So I got all the stuff for him over a period of time, carefully cleaned his uniform so it was bright white and got a repro white hat (which isn't needed to be complete, but I like it) and pulled the string just before putting him on my shelf. Then the string stuck. Then I tried to take him apart and fix it. Then I made it completely worse. So I gave up and removed the voice box, which I'll send to someone that can fix it, hopefully.

But it's still a great figure!

Golden Book Princess of Power paper doll book from 1985.

It's not particularly valuable or anything but I had one as a kid and it was nice to find one unused, uncut and in such nice old store stock condition. The artwork is lovely and has some really funky off model fashions.

Finally found Obi-Wan for a price I could live with. Also the Batman figures are still sealed, must have been a catalog mail away.

Got to give LJN credit they always made good quality toys. They are also in perfect scale with Thundercats if you ever wanted Panthro to drive the your Spice Scout.
