Especially that 72 tiger and 72 allo. Those have base pieces that weren't included in the initial release in 1971.
In case you didn't get instruction sheets with them, you can see them on my site to double check that all the little pieces are still there (especially the baby chick and eggs for that bird kit)

I did not know that, thanks. They actually all had instructions. And yes, the Bird has the chick and eggs.

^^ Nice gift, APS are just great! No matter what I've collected over time, bought and sold… moved across the country… I have always kept mine that came from Radio Shack back in the 70s. Not only are the sculpts killer, but the models have some articulation and even look good unpainted. I'm still amazed they cast Triceratops in silver; that's just too cool!

They do take up lots of real estate tho; so it's a commitment.

So a friend of mine said I could just have these. He'd had them since they were released just sitting in a back room all these years.

I went through all of them this morning and the only piece that seems to be missing is the bottom piece to one rear paw for the Cave Bear as best I can tell. He had dried fit everything so I think that helped greatly.

I've always been a fan of these but had never really seem them up close until now. Keep or sell at Mego Meet? Decisions, decisions, lol.

I've been after this Italian boardgame from UFO for a while but it was always so expensive. Finally got one cheap, it's HUGE! I don't know where to put it.

Picked up the removable cowl DC Silver Age Super-Heroes line Batman from Hasbro at a comic/toy show I was at this weekend.

There were a lot of cool toys, a few vintage but most were more modern stuff. I ended up spending more on comics and original art and prints than I did on toys at the show.

Nah, you can get really nice already assembled versions on ebay for fairly cheap...I love sets like this where the decal sheet especially is still intact...

My only nit would be I wish the U.S. versions of big jim trucks were like the European versions, which had the higher lift, more realistic wheels and suspension...Like their Safari Truck for instance...

Very nice. It is something that looks to be very enjoyable.

Reminds me of a Matchbox size Safari that I used to have.

The makings of a good adventure.

Real nice, love Big Jim. I had the Beast when I was a kid too. That's a favorite of mine also.

I know, I wish I could have removed that price sticker without tearing the box...But I guess it adds alittle nostalgia to it...I really love the PACK artwork, I have a feeling that's part of the reason so much of that line is so expensive...lol....
