Hi guys.
Just wanted you to know that I finally got to interview the ex-CEO of "Pin Pin Toys", and had the pleasure to write an article about the history of Mego in France for the 61st issue of Comic Box (French equivalent of "Wizard").
Here's a pic of the double-page :

Among the interesting things (collector oriented info) I learned :
- Around 60 000 Mightor were produced.
- The license cost 40 000 French Francs.
- If the "Pin Pin Toys" Mightor doesn't have its medallion, it's that the model sheet sent to the Mego factory in Asia was showing the character "in action", with its mace hiding the medallion.
- 150 000 8" "Pin Pin Toys" carded figures were sent to the US in 1982/1983 (Pin Pin Toys was closing).
- The first WGSH item distributed in France was the 8" Spidey in late 1977.
- Before "Pin Pin Toys", the distributor of WGSH (8" and 12") was a company named "Maja". Carded and boxed items were, at first, Canadian issues.
