For those unfamiliar with the characters of "Captain Future" :

    The Bandai toys :

And that other French exclusive doll by Raynal I 've mentionned, actually produced by Mego (yes, Sylvie Vartan is the aunt of Michael Vartan, from the Alias TV series) :

Just when you think everything has been discovered.

Think B.A. Where did you hide the Megos?

Thanks for sharing all those pics, and I'm very much looking forward to what info you can obtain during your interview. It's too bad those Captain Future figures were never produced. At least it looks like France received some of the Japanese toys though (and that "Captain Flam" logo in the catalogue shoot is very Shogun Warriors-esque). The only one of those toys I've seen before is the chogokin figure of the robot Grag (I forget his Japanese name). That catalogue shot of the Sylvie Vartan is cool to see as well.

              Sebastien,

That is very cool information! They sure made good use of the existing body designs (The male 8" body, the 8" female body, the 6" body, and the Hulk body).

              Thanks for sharing this.

Hi. I know the WW fashions were distributed by Lutece Trading, but I'm not sure about the playset. I hope my interlocutor has a good memory .

Looks like they used an AJ head, Invisible girl head, Hulk body and modified a Buffalo Bill head, ya gotta love these new discoveries. I can see being customized in the near future. The cards look cool too, but I would've expected to see the character's name on it, but this way was cheaper I guess

De nada. Hey, Mattel distributed some "Captain Future" toys in the UK, right ?

you never know he might have a left over box of fantastic four figures with grey heads tucked somewhere in his basement!

We actually got a Mego doll for the plastic representation of a very famous French singer (female) : Sylvie Vartan. The doll is from Raynal (French company), but was prodced by Mego.
Wow! Is this news to most folks around here?

Can't wait for your book to come out. Hopefully I'll be able to find it in French bookstores here in Canada!
