I used to build Lego buildings and space stations, and also made a bunch of dirt/rock caves and huts. Oh yeah, and Connect-A-Straws were pretty amazing for making structures.

          Playsets!
I designed this for my daughter's JSA/JLA type heroes. It is a satellite/hall of justice watchtower combined with a Big Jim airplane she uses as a makeshift Javelin...
This is her whole base when she puts it together on the floor...

I had the following playsets for my Megos: Action Jackson's Lost Continent, Planet of the Apes Fortress, Planet of the Apes Treehouse and Star Trek Enterprise bridge.

The Enterprise bridge was used for everything: POTA Astronaut, Verdon, and Burke, and as a headquarters for the JLA, Fantastic Four, and the Avengers.

This is my Batcave at my 7th birthday party. I also had an Enterprise which I carried to school everyday for awhile in the first grade.

Cool picture. Looks like you were the stuff on your 7th B-day with that Batcave and all.

I never had a playset, either. We never got many sets or vehicles, just action figures. I don't really remember seeing the sets around when I was a kid, anyway.
