    Just one playset...

When you're a kid, parents really don't get the need for having all the cool playsets and accessories, so a lot of people had one playset, (if that). So what was your all purpose playset?

BTW...I bring this up, b/c I've been babysitting 6-yr.-old Noe' for the last 2 weeks. He loves my Megos, and uses the POTA villiage for a space ship for Star Trek Aliens, the Batcave (I haven't started on the one for ME yet), and the villains hideout.

Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."

never had a playset. parents didnt really buy too many toys for me as a kid which explains a lot of my obsession with toys in my adult life. but if i had a choice, i woulda picked the wayne foundation!!

I never had a playset either. Now the Wayne Foundation is my favorite. As a kid I did make my closet into a batcave of sorts.

I rember getting a big cardboard house from Foodland when I was about 10 or so.I was at the store with mom and the house was a marshmellow display and just about empty.Dennis was the manager, went from there to Giant Eagle later, and he was nice enough to take out the rest of marshmellows so I could have the display.Lookin back now it was nothing fancy, but for me back then it was the best thing.A place for my heros to hang out.The one thing that does stand out in my mind was when hulk got mad and crashed the place."Hulk smash" and crash I would throw him right into it.A childs imagination sometimes is the best toy.

The Hall of Justice was my multi-purpose playhouse for Megos. I had the Batcave, but somehow it seemed sacrosanct to use it for anything other than the Bat HQ.

The Enterprise bridge set was the only set I had. It had to double for the bad guys ship too.

I had both the Star Trek playset and the Hall of Justice, but probably played with the Trek set more.

wow...the secret wars doom tower, That's the one "vintage" playset I've ever found at regular retail years after it should have been. It was fun as hell, but looking at it I can't figure out why?

as for what I had as a child, I would go for broke and hit up the clearance section of childrens palace and grab up super cheap playsets....don't know why, i seemed to like the bases more than the figures in most cases.

The funnest one oddly enough was the Bionic Six playset. worked well with most lines, even when you forced 8" scale figures into it you could make it work.

As a kid i had the batcave [my fav] the ape treehouse and the start trek bridge, The ape treehouse doubled as the Riddler's hang out, But the best playset was the huge bookcase in the liveing room which i ussed with the star trek bridge making the whole star ship, I also used the bookcase to extend the batcave giveong Batman a trophy room, place to work on the batmobile , a jail area to lock up the Penguin and Riddler the only two superfoes i had along with AJ who was a henchmen for the foes

As I've posted before, I made my Megos boxers....I often used the LJN WWF ring as well. I draped my empty Star Wars pillowcase over the apron and called it "STAR WARS COLLESIUM".
