It's interesting that even though Mego stopped mixing Marvel and DC on packaging years previous,
in commercial they were still allowed (?) to advertise them together.

This one was specifically for Toy Fair but yeah, I seem to recall a couple of WGSH commercials that mixed worlds. I guess that was ok.

These are great! One technical question, though: why are these commercials being formatted on YouTube in "stretched" 16:9 rather than their original 4:3 aspect ratio?

Do kids today still try to emulate play scenarios shown on the commercial? I remember always trying to master the "Zip Line" across my bedroom. They do such a good job of making them look action packed in this commercial.
