Oh, those POTA prototypes. That hurts. I made a Dr. Hasslein; I've wanted an Armando for what seems like forever. They all look good.

Another fantastic Weekly: thank you all again!

Though I write that through pain, having now seen that Armando (Mantalban) head sculp for a Topps x Mego figure that was never produced. "The Pain! The Pain!"

(An Aldo and a Virgil would've been great as well, and I definitely would've bought those figures and welcomed more "Battle For" figures. But my personal preference from "Battle" would've been for a McDonald and a Kolp. A Zaius figure could be a Virgil, and a Cornelius/Galen could stand in for Caesar, and with MacDonald and Kolp, we would have the exploring party entering the Forbidden Zone, only to be confronted by evil maniac Kolp.)

Also notable/surprising to me in that advertisement for Johnny's Toys that the GI Joe Adventure Team Sky Hawk was $10, while a talking AT commander was only $6...

    Great Weekly! Thank you again!

Several favorites this week, but first among equals is the very last image of the Canadian superhero customs. I believe I recognized, flying in the background, Northguard? I'm American, so I'm not entirely sure how I got the first few B&W issues of that comic book 40 years ago as a teenager in southern California. But I did. I loved that hero concept then and still do. And that custom figure even has his power armband. So great! Is Northguard still a known/prominent hero character, or is he today as obscure as I think he is? Either way: absolutely great to see.

I also really enjoyed the video by Bruno unboxing all those White Elephant Toyz Atomic Apemen. Jealous! I have watched and enjoyed many of Bruno's other YouTube videos over the years.

(Perhaps not) coincidentally, just a few days ago, YouTube recommended to me that same video of Stan Lee and Roy Thomas discussing the comic adaptation of the Human Fly circa 1976. I still have all those comic books! What's odd is, I remember buying the comic books, but I don't think I ever saw the real Human Fly on TV as a kid.

That Terence Stamp-as-Zod in movie costume custom was/is so great! RIP....

Pretty darn cool newsletter this week, I absolutely love those Bonanza customs, it looks like the heads for Ben and Hoss came from the American character set, putting those on the bodies must have been difficult, fantastic job.

I was wondering that too, but I see MRP said it showed up in his email...

Like you, I read the newsletter on here since my email has gone wonky on me-No fault of the newsletter though.

And even If I did, I haven't been able to open and read it for years. I have to check here.
