It's an awesome figure! (I love the packaging, too.) I totally get the cost. The figure looks great, and I would imagine, based on its subject matter and that it was a Con Exclusive, it wasn't made in large numbers.

In recent years, I've had to 'come to grips' with higher and higher price points for figures (as we all have, I expect). I remember when I first saw new Mego figures at Target six (-ish) years ago retailing for $12.50 and GI Joe Classified for, IIRC, $15. At the time, I made a promise to myself that I wouldn't buy any new figures priced over $20. Then $25. Then $35. $50 seems to be the 'new frontier of pricing' to which I've yet to fully acclimate.

Also, having attended every San Diego Comic Con from 1985 through 2001 (after which tickets were no longer purchasable day of, at the entrance), I remember very well the phenomenon of my money flowing much more freely there than, say, at my local comic book store 10 miles away. That sense of 'special-ness' and 'occasion' at the Con. I'm sure that, had I actually been at Zolocon in person a few weeks ago, I would've merrily bought one!

Oh that's great, I really was worried people who didn't attend would get left out. Lincoln is still a small company, and I'm so glad people are able to order these still. Vee will go for sale soon too, we've got more of him.

Thanks for another great newsletter Friday. Some very neat customs and too bad Tasha Yar wasn’t produced, she would have looked good next to the rest of TNG lineup.

Yes, what a week for customs, like Tim Drake Robin & especially Martian Chronicles.

I'll avoid commenting on ersatz FB MM.

So glad TV #14 will still be, I've missed it.

Are all those figures from Frank going to Zolo? That's impressive!
