The only gallery I see here that's lacking is poor AJ. The first Mego deserves an improved gallery (and a card )

I gotta say I like John's idea as well. It is a shame to sometimes see finished customs being pushed to the second page because of questions and WIP pics. Questions have to be answered and opinions should be shared, so those topics would best be addressed in a customs subforum

Perhaps an updated list of Mego-scale suppliers or supplies of accessories. We all know the biggies but some guys are not as active anymore or have changed up their product line. Others aren't selling at all and there are some great ones in the forum who I never knew existed. Maybe they want to keep a low profile for legal type reasons and that is cool, but if people want to be listed that aren't then updating that might be useful.

I voted for the celebrities. If you have KISS, you have to include the rest (and I'm not ashamed to admit that I could provide pics of Farrah for the gallery because she is in my collection ).

But I agree with ScottA that it would be cool if the Museum could cover all things Mego, including all the items in the poll, so it could be the ultimate be all end all Mego resource. I realize that it may be a difficult and arduous task as it's not easy to muster the enthusiasm to work on galleries for toys one isn't particularly interested in, but at least if some kind of skeletal framework could be set up with bare minimal information on all the lines mentioned in the poll (and if someone later comes along with pictures and interest in one of those lines, try to recruit him to fill in that particular gallery)

I would like to see improvements to the custom forum. I beleive the one section now used for custom figures, heads suits,questions, has been out grown. Just tonight, there were 20 people viewing customs. That was more than any other single forum.
What I would like to see is a sub forum(like how it started with SciFi w/monster movie round table) for all work in progress, questions about anything custom ect.
The current custom forum would be for any and all COMPLETED CUSTOM projects, figures,heads,playsets,boxes ect. The custom forum is just to small for all of the great customs this community is putting out now. It is such a shame to see peoples hard work pushed off the board by questions and WIP. I beleive they should have a seperate place to be addressed.

I like that idea. My customs get flushed off the front page faster than a Pam Anderson divorce. Another thing I think would be cool would be a gallery that has all completed customs listed by month. It's a pain to try to dig around and find something once it falls back a few pages. Sometimes I find stuff I forgot was even there. If somebody wants to teach me how, I volunteer to do it.

Very nice move Dave! I know there are many who are Mego purists but the customs do bring a lot of attention here and get a lot of posts. The custom page amazes me more and more with what people bring to the table.
