Finally had time to sit down and watch the two shows last night:

The KISS episode was alright, not a big fan of the celebrities on the shows.

The second episode got back to the basics. Good ol vintage toy hunting! The Boxed Eternia was impressive!

I have no problem with the prices he offers even if he thinks he can make more than double of his offer price it's an unrealized gain. It's not like he is scalping current figured from the toy aisle at the local store to get the rare figure and resell it a 400% on ebay keeping it out of a childs hands he is looking for the toys the grown ups want. I have had to sell a couple of really rare toys in the last few years and I made sure I made a healthy profit to let go a treasure. The seller is the one who ultimately has the power to take a deal or not.

and the season finale when he talked about his orginal SW figures that he thought were lost and his team window boxed brought a tear to my eye and a lump in my throat. he is one of us no denying it
All the presents were fantastic. Steve's "Fright Factory" was beautiful. That one brought back some old memories. What a display piece!

DVR set to stun as always. My kids have even taken a liking to the show. "Dad, you have that! That's cool! You need that. I NEED that."

I think I've seen Mark on TV more than I have in person this year.

^^^ I think that is a great idea. "Toy Hunter goes to Mego Meet" I think the country would love an episode like that.

Except that we'd all be the "tough" collectors mentioned last season. Doubt there are many here who would sell at the prices Jordan would want to buy at, no offense to him.

I do not want to be on the show. But would not mind meeting Jordan.

Good show last night. It's sad to think the market is shrinking on those great old Sci-Fi toys. Beautiful stuff.

On the flip side of that, some of the items in the "Nerd-seum" were just beyond my nostalgia range, right after I stopped playing with toys. Like the TMNT Pizza Thrower and Ghostbusters Proton Pack, although I remember them being out in stores.

I was hoping he would go over the D&D line from LJN Toys. Those are wonderful figures.
