i want to move to where you live. 95% of the flea's around here have closed in the last 4 years, auctions around here are always farm equipment and yard sales are just plain crap. Thank god for eBay or I'd have to find a new hobby.

Are you kidding? You mean to tell me that you would pass on that deal? That is a RARE HTF variant. There is only probably less than a couple of thousand of these known to exist. hahaha LOL!!!

I found a complete Planet of the Apes horse for $7 a few months ago in a toy box labeled half price. It even had the battery cover. That made my year altogether. Couldnt get to paying it fast enough.

the one flea market I go to every now and then has been getting a little better at having some misc. older stuff ... most are beat to heck and not worth the effort.

I have found a couple nice deal on common vintage stuff ... but nothing jaw dropping amazing

I haven't found any megos lately at the flea markets or yard/estate sales I try to hit when I can, but I did find a couple of weeks ago a Bionic Woman Halloween costume (Ben Cooper - Solid Box) that was in mint condition, paid $10 for it.

I don't think I've ever run across any Megos at yard sales, thrift stores or flea markets. I can't even recall any at antique malls but I wasn't really back into them until last June so I may not have actively noticed them and if they were there, they were likely way overpriced for their condition.
I plan on looking for them specifically when I go on vacation this summer.

I do believe they are out there (along with other vintage toys). I just really think the "hunters" are there before you and snatch all the good stuff up and sell it on ebay.

It's all happy meal toys and crazy-haired Barbies around my neck of the woods. Years ago I did find a capeless Super Powers Superman for $1. But that's it.
