You never know what some one is going to donate or get rid of at any thrift store or good-will.People clean out their basements and attics all the time.......check regularly!!!Leave a comment:

Really depends on the condition there, Fazeman.
Snap some pictures and we can help you ask the right questions to determine the right price.

There is plenty of stuff out there , the thing is you have treat like Job, check the papers foe for sale ads/estate sales yard/garage sales , find out the flea markets get there early, and you will find a lot of stuff.and Bring cash.
the casual collector will find less because he not aggressive enough.Leave a comment:

The one flea market near me has several Megos at 2 different locations. The sellers know the value, so while they're not overpriced, they're not great deals, either. I did find a great deal on a bunch of Megos at a flea market a few months ago. I got a Superman, naked Wonder woman, Spock, minty Tarzan, Shazam outfit, a dead mint Catwoman, along with a Swat guy for $18. I also got a Cornelius missing a hand and 2 Swat guys for $3 2 years ago. Other than that, my best deal recently was 3 of the CTVT clowns for $5 at the big flea market near me. I'll use the parts alone and save a lot.Leave a comment:

It is really a hit and a miss. I go just about on a daily basis to several thrift stores around the area in which I live. I go to sales, flea markets, antique malls and estate sales as well. I have even ventured out a bit farther from the area. I have found only but four Mego's in the wild in my journeys so far. All four of which I have found to be naked without clothing or accessories. I have been avidly going now for two years. Not a very good track record in my opinion. A find does and can happen some times though. If one is serious about finding them you just have to stick with it. With so many collectors and dealers on board these days and thanks to eBay more and more people know what they are and what to look for. It is getting to be the equivelant for digging for gold these days in time. Good luck with your hunt if you should so decide to give it a try.Leave a comment:

Too late you have already bursted my bubble. Good bye oh cruel Mego world!LOL!! kidding!
That is great Anderson. I find stuff similar every now and a then. I am like you as it pertains to leaving neat toys behind. I hate to leave even broken vintage toys behind some times as I think about using them for parts to stuff I have not found yet. The whole neat thing is that one just never knows what one will find next. That is the whole fun of it to me.It could be a treasure or it could be a dud? Who knows....what lurks around the corner waiting to be had.
