What Do You Own That NEVER Thought You Would

I don't mean rarity-wise. I'm talking about going back to the beginning of your collecting days and remembering what thing you thought, "That line/figure/employee handbook is nice, but I have no interest in it."

And now... there it is amongst your WGSH, Treks and Apes.

What made me think was just putting $45 each on these to come closer to finishing off this line. I just need the Munchkinland Playset.-
    WANTED - Solid-Boxed WGSH's, C.8 or better.

A Solid Box Batman, the box is Fair to be kind But it is a Solid box Batman. Probably will be the only one I will ever come across. A few weeks back I scored my first and only Fully Original Alter Ego Bruce Wayne that was part of a Wayne Foundation Auction. I also just got what would seem to be my white whale, my Aqualad last night and after some Painful EBay beats. Just made a deal for a Carded Palitoy Hulk never thought I wolud ever get my hands on a sealed carded Palitoy.
    I'm outta controle!!!

Tomland Famous Monsters of Legend. I never cared for the first wave and deemed the second series "too rare" to own.

The 12" Kenner Star Wars line. I told myself I would NEVER collect these. I now have them all, most in the box.

MEGOS!!!!! Collected vintage toys and related items forever it seems. Went to a fellow member’s house to trade toys for some comic books, saw his Megos and got the fever.

Actually....Mego Planet of the Apes. I said for years I had no interest. Then I made the trading cards and had to get some, then I made a playset and had to display it...Peter Burke is one of my favorite Megos now.

Excel Kojak toy line. Never had interest in it until I picked up a mailer Kojak along time ago.

I bought two minty (MIB) John Boy/Mary Ellen Walton 2-packs because they were so cheap. (under $20.00 shipped)

I also bought most of the Wizard of Oz Megos (MIB) because they too were really inexpensive.

Dukes of Hazzard, I never watched the show and don't really like the figures all that much, but since I collected the other TV lines, I had to have 'em.

I have since sold off Daisy -- she was the worst.
