    >Mine isn't the right way. It's just mine.

That's why I say I'm lucky to prefer uncarded. It's cheaper, and easier 'cos I'm okay with repro parts. I've even modified figures to make myself happy. But mine isn't the only path travelled; others look for different things.... and the MOC guys have a helluva time ahead of them.

....at least from my perspective. But again, for me it's the having, not the getting. I know TONS of folks who enjoy the chase at least as much as the reward.

^^I too, like the having. The getting makes me nervous and the selling makes me ill.

The loose vs MOC debate is old and tired. There's obviously a few dozen ways to be a Mego fan, from a packaging fetishist to a loose completist to a customs nut to a ReMego fan.

I've got something of everything. I acquired a loose collection of all WGSH, Star Trek, POTA and Legends AND a complete boxed WGSH collection was a must. I put that mostly together in the 90s, and when I was more flush I went on a carded spree that stalled out when I hit the Riddler/Green Arrow layer of the atmosphere and then I started selling off again. Kresges never did much for me. The Dida Displays and customs projects have dominated the last 7 years, I still have sets I want to make for other vintage lines. I've picked up about half of the ReMego stuff that's come along.

Your Dida Displays are beautiful! Great work! Once my basement is done, I will be contacting you for a few of them. These will be the only new items in my collection.
