How was your 2011 : Collecting Wise?

Good year i guess, mostly working on customs and if my recent ebay win comes in soon i'll be down to just needing Thor to finish my Marvel Mego collection. Looking forward to ReMego's in 2012 mostly from BBP.

My year was pretty great overall. Would love to have picked up a Chris Reeve Superman. Since there are fewer Mego-scale figures to collect nowadays I've added Legos to my toy collecting this year. My apologies, I don't know if Lego is a hot button topic on this forum. I had held off getting into them for years and years and it wasn't easy what with the neat Star Wars stuff, but my kids got really into Harry Potter so we started buying whatever HP related Legos I could afford. All that's left to get from the sets currently available are: Diagon Alley and Hogwarts Express and then I can concentrate either on things I like from Star Wars and Pirates of the Carribean or try and get the Harry Potter sets that Lego long since retired.

Didn't 2011 bring us the first MM Podcast? That's a highlight right there. 2011 I became a HUGE Venture Bros fan because of the retro figures.

This year ENYAWD did some amazing painting for me, MSOTIS finished the 1:6 POTA spaceship project, B.K. made some great casts and BLIET did some first class sewing.

For 2012 I'm looking forward to an intervention from my family and a possible episode on Hoarders.

2011 was a very good year added a lot of AT JOE figures and vechiles and outfits, even got a SOTW JOE
MEGO wise only got a Diamond suit Spidey

Just picking away at all lines, just really left with the "merry men" line, two knights, wyatt erp and one BC to finish, leaving the WGSH till last, and then start on finishing the playsets. The high spot for me was getting in all the pirates.
