But those only have limited space. And if there is a way to do that, I don't know about it. Being able to do from your own PC would mean you can post all the pics you want and not have to delete them from the gallery (and consequently your original post) when you run outta space.

Also, would like to have the option to be able to hide online status
Annoying ? ... YES, that darn animated add on the main forum page ... I hate it with a passion.
I have no problem with adds as long as they are not animated.

I 2nd the whole Social Media Integration (Twitter/Facebook/Google+).
For extra security measures, 2nd layer login like CAPTCHA would help the Admins police those SPAM Bot accounts.
Also...Post Count entry level (ex: >500) to certain sections like possibly The Galleries, Auction Watch, Marketplace, and Trading Cards.
Possibly combining Forums like keeping Marketplace as a master and Auction Watch as a sub-section or creating a section called Museum Projects as the master and adding Trading Cards, MegoMeet, & Re-Imagined as sub-sections.
Technical Help Section can be combined...and the Arcade Section should be a link more then it's own forum...IMHO.
I'm pretty sure a lot of folks are not gonna like these suggestions...but if you ever had to administer a forum and/or website with this kind of volume with as little time as these guys have...well...
Anyway...those are my 2 cents...for nowEveryone is Entitled to MY Opinion...Your's, not so much!Comment

I think the Museum has too many bells and whistles all over the site in general. I think it's time to simplify and streamline the Museum Forums.
I have seen sites using similar layout/software to this which have the option "Text Only View". Is that an option that can be incorporated into the site after the upgrade? That option is current for MM site's software anyway, I think, it's just that you guys don't feel the need to use it?
I agree with Tom in that there are too many forums. I think there are some which can be combined or do without. I block a bunch of them from my view-which is my choice I know-but maybe there are too many.
Some have mentioned a "Like" feature similar to Facebook so you can give kudos to a person's comment in a thread rather than have to actually type a post where you say, "good idea!"
I think the gallery at Mego Museum stinks in every respect and I rarely use it anymore. It is too frustrating and not user friendly, in my opinion. That is not a swipe at the Mods or the Host but more a limitation of the software, (or too many options in the gallery as some have mentioned). Perhaps the upgrade will solve this but I feel the old gallery was better in many respects. Most people just link to outside accounts anyway so maybe hosting a gallery here is a lost cause. You should probably see how many use MM Gallery VS. how many just link to outside accounts. Maybe it would make your lives easier not having it here anymore? Or perhaps you can allow members who use the gallery here most often more space if most other members link to outside sources.
Can we ditch the columns and rows of animated Smilies that come up to the right when I want to post a reply. They seem to slow me down when I want to post something. I don't mind them so much in reading a post. Maybe we could have an option to hide Smilies or show Smilies in our user prefs. when composing a post? They taunt me every time I post and I can't get at them so I am likely to start taking my rage out on actual living people.Comment
