To be honest with you, I remember walking down Queen Street in the mid 1990s and seeing a whole window of Harbert Human Torches and Things. The shop owner told me "Some guy went to Italy and found them in a store!"

Palitoy... the paradox is that even if Harbert was italian and they sold several toy lines in Italy in a couple of decades...I found at least 40% of my Mego Harbert toys abroad:UK, France, Japan, Nederlands etc etc
They probably distributed Megos to the nearby countries!

The last prey was Superman on an italian Harbert Card that I found on ebay from a UK seller.
I found The Invisible Girl...in Japan instead

And the my gift for you...fellow Mego collectors is a gallery of pictures of this possibly unique WGSH Mego Harbert collection...

All boxes and cards are in Italian language or in USA version with the infamous Harbert sticker stuck on it!

There could be some other combinations of Usa Cards with a Harbert sticker because Harbert used to buy all the stock they could from Mego before starting to print Italian cards.
That's the reason why so few USA 1975A and 1975B Fantastic four cards without sticker are still in existence...
No Italian boxes for 8inch chars exist!
The only italian cards ever made were Robin, Batman, Superman, Hulk, Spider-Man 1978 and Spider-Man 1979.

Some cards could be updgraded but considering that certain Harbert cards do not exist in more than 10 specimen nowadays...I consider my Harbert collection...not bad!
    WHAT DO YOU THINK?

This is the list of the figures you will see in the pictures:

Tough piece right there. I actually am a fan of all the aquatic mego items, Aquaman, Pirates, Neptune, etc. They all were well made.
The FTC shark is the only repro I display because the original is so expensive and rare.
