I work in nanuet NY,, I figured I would go down to TRU, I walked up and down, nothin, I asked some employees, deer in headlight look was all i got. I said to my self, " i don't wanna buy thses on Ebay, F#$%k "
So i took a trip to Paramus NJ, I walked around, nothin, i asked, same look as in NY. I said to myself, " I don't wanna buy these on Ebay, F%^&k"
I picked up a 14" Dr.McCoy,cause I need him, I walked down one last isle just for the hell of it, no where near the figure isle, and WOW, I practically threw McCoy , there was a whole bunch of retro figures, hanging, just like the olden days.
I bought 2 superman and Lex, Let me tell you,,,, the figures are cool, real cool, I cannnot wait for Batman and more.they stand on their own, Bodies not as nice as Diamond bodies but WAYYYY better than anything on the market.
    Thats all I gotta say,,

    Green Lantern Error Card

I found Superman, GL, Sinestro, and Lex at the TRU in Bradenton, FL. One of the GL's I bought was on a Sinestro card. Anyone else seen any errors like this?

Now THAT is the first true "70's moment" pic I have seen, because there are so many of them hanging there, like the old days. As quickly as these figures are disappearing, I have to believe they have been a big hit. You almost never see $20.00 figures flying off shelves at such a rapid clip, unless they are directly tied to movie merchandise. I think these figures are red hot and Mattel and Doc both know it.

Finally saw these on the shelves at the “über R U” in Times Square. Looks like they had around 4 sets on the shelf (a bit less than that once I picked up Supes and GL). Pricey, but pretty cool!

(I also managed to pick up the He-Man/Supes and Skeletor/Luthor exclusive two packs as well. It was a good Mattel day! )

    Wow!
2 cases. And all on the pegs at one time. That is very cool. I hope they all dissappear FAST.

Still nothing here in NC. Getting tired of driving 60 miles one way for nothing.

It depends on where the plastic hook was attached on the back of the card.

If the worker put it in the middle of the card, the balance is off and the card
    hangs at an angle.
If the worker put the hook behind the figure - where the weight is - the
    card hangs normally.

Found two Lexes at the Lexington TRU. Left the unstitched one. I would have liked to have found the rest, but I didn't expect to find ANY, so it was good.

Lex looks good with the Megos. It's been a long time coming. Again, the crazy legs are a bit off, but compared to issues with all of the 9" figures that came close to Mego, it's not a big concern. A body swap may happen eventually.

It is odd how they hang on the pegs though. A well-placed butterfly hole would fix that.
