Why aren't Megos as well liked outside this forum?

Weird. Now Why Wouldn't you have a difference of Opinion with Me ..., Considering I'd say 99.9999999999999% of Your Posts,.. I disagree with.

Maybe you have to watch many many episodes
    to see the connection.

    Maybe perhaps you Should.
Since you Obviously Don't get it.
I do realize you Need to Apply a Little more forthought here ..., rather than Watching Superman 3 ..., So Might I suggest for you to Actually Watch ALL the Episodes ..., then Watch Each 1, .. 4 Times each,.. or Untill you Do See this Connection you Search for.

BTW ... Anyone Remeber the "Custom Mego" Skit ?. lol

Untill I came here I always thought I was misprouncing it when I said MEE GO not MAY GO, plenty of people our age and older still mispronounce it. Ithink it is all in what you heard growing up.

John and I were lucky born in 72 and thanks to Hills and Zayres
we saw the end of the greatest toys of the 60's 70s

12 inch Joe who we love
      The spidercopter (ideal)
Evil Kneivel -Still would love to see a new mego of him go full scale
Worlds Greatest super heroes & trek megos
the adventure people ( loved em and they were cheap!)
      micronaughts
      and of course

      Star Wars
      New Joe in 82

and I was still buying toys in 85 for super powers.

we love em all and each has something special about it.

I agree with those that hate when Toys became mini statues (and for me when collecting toys became collecting packages)

Mego bodies are nice because they're smaller making them cheaper (when new), heads swap easily and Mego got a lot of good license ... Also the Mego body is pretty realistic ... But personally I think the most perfect action figure body ever produced was the classic 12" GI Joe body.

IMO, classic 12" Joe bodies are as close to perfection as anyone has come.

I agree. GIJoes & Megos were my favorites along with Six Million Dollar Man but if GIJoes weren't so damn expensive to collect now I would probably be heavily into those as well.

            It's funny .....

Most people agree that Mego's and Classic Joes were perfection ....

Weird thing is they were created so early in the action figure game.

After them EVERYONE was trying to do something different - which translated to sub grade crap.

Even today, look at the reWGSH's bodies ........

Their torso to arm ratio makes them look like musclebound children ...

Companies should give up their pride and start making figures how they should be made.

Here's a question: Why doesn't Mattycollector have forums for their Retro-action line? They have them for MOTU Classics and DCU Classics... and MOTU vintage, Dark Knight, Avatar, JLA, Ghostbusters, Toy Story, Cars, WWE... am I missing it somewhere??
