My set should be here by this weekend. Found a deal I could live with on ebay. Can't wait! -
Same with my Walmart order they charged me about three times same amount(pending) for the Atlas set but it never ascended to a full charge.Leave a comment:

As others have stated, I believe it was just a holding charge. I have had three holding charges on my Target Card for an item I pre-ordered due in June (which I cannot explain why they have done it three times). But each time, it's a pending charge, but it never converts to a full charge.
I do not know how it looked on the card I used for the Disney sets, since I never checked beyond the charge notification, but it's not on my statement. And my order is still showing up on the website.Leave a comment:

Chris, et al: Yes, it's as you described. I corresponded with Disney Customer Service and my bank.
My order (supposedly) is still in place.
Thanks for all the responses.Leave a comment:

I believe it's a holding funds charge. They make sure you have funds available and charge you again when they ship. This happens with me like with Walmart for instance and the Atlas figures (just an example). Was charged for two orders ($64) the transaction disappears from my statement but will reappear around Jan 31st when they ship.Leave a comment:

It will be interesting to see if we do indeed get these. I checked my credit card, and the charge is gone on mine as well. Considering the rep told my wife this will happen, I'm hopeful that I'll still get my set. And of course everyone else in this boat does too.PNGwynne, Mcgorski, and powersthatbe: My situation is the same as what each of you have stated. The credit card charge did show up on Debacle Day, but has since disappeared from my transactions. No order cancellation notice has been received. Like powersthatbe, I did NOT use any discounts or codes.
Thought I would pipe up with my particulars in case anyone is charting a matrix of variables that play into the resultant "JOY" or "NO JOY".Leave a comment:

I don't want to give anyone false hope, but my wife Cindy had to call about my order because they didn't give us the discount on our Disney Visa card. The Disney rep told her that a charge would show on the account, then after a few days would go away, and reappear when it ships. So if you didn't get an email, and it's still showing on the site, you may still be good.Leave a comment:

Awful.
Did any transaction go through?
Once Disney gets to the bottom of this, I hope those who made purchases are given the chance to see those orders go through.Leave a comment:

My cc charge has disappeared too (was it a holding charge until Jan 31st?) but my order is still up on the site and no email cancellation notice. I also paid full price on the site and didn't use any discounts or codes.Leave a comment:

After being expected to be available within days of the in-store announcment, it was finally announced it would be available last Sunday, Dec. 22 at 8 AM Pacific Time. At that time, the product began to flip between in and out of stock depending on when you tried to purchase it. After just a few hours of this, it permanently went out of stock. Some people who managed to actually purchase it later got emails their orders were canceled. I was one of the lucky few who have not yet received a cancelation email.Leave a comment:
