I learned to drive stick on one. I always thought that it fit the Joker quite well.

I can't look at one without picturing it covered with painted flowers & peace signs and a bunch of fringed-vest, colored-sunglass wearing, long-haired hippies rolling out of it!Comment

Hey before anyone gets me wrong, as a vehicle I love the VW Camper van especially the early split screen version on which these mego ones are based. It just one of those odd ball mego things that we will discuss until we are all dead. Bruce Wayne is very wealthy so he could probably afford to get bmw to supe his up (;-) lol

My partner used to own one of these, you were lucky if you could hit 50 miles per hour in one.
The only saving grace that Joker must have had while trying to escape in one of these is that Bat Man could only match the same speed in his own Camper Van. It is one of the most bizaar uses of a vehicle for a Super hero.
The funny thing is, I could see it working for the Fantastic Four, don't ask me why, maybe its the amount of seats. Somebody should do a custom.

I have to say--seeing as how this is the first time I've seen a good pic of the AJ van--it'd made an awesome Fantastic Four or even Cap A./Avengers vehicle.
