I think she's Luke's, but I would love to be wrong, and have her be just someone else.

It's interesting that the Star Wars galaxy wasn't too bad a place until the Skywalker family was noticed. One generation helps ruin it and the next one helps save it.

Exactly what I was thinking. Too many coincidences. I wonder if somehow the Solo and Skywalker families are bound together by the Force.

Popular wisdom is that Rey is Luke's daughter with a TBD female. I buy it.
We know that Kylo Ren is Han & Leah's son.
I believe that Finn is Han's son with another TBD female. Maybe it's the leather jacket, or maybe the comment about his eyes & wanting to run away.
I also like the Internet Dad's theory about Kylo Ren killing a loved one in order to become a Sith. The loved one appeared to participate in the death.
I wonder if Poe will turn out to be related to anyone...Rey's half-brother with the same mom?

Also, I like Finn more the second time around. When I view him as Han Jr trying to get the girl, it fits a lot better.

Holy EU Confusion! I wonder if they were familiar with the biggest EU event of 1996 or if they just liked it and figured no one would care if they re-used it.

i would be willing to bet they did not go with that title so as to avoid confusion with the book title

Apparently one of the titles considered for Episode VII was "Shadow of the Empire".

He was offered an appearance in Force Awakens, but he declined it. I doubt they would offer him anything further.

^ I think those sort of cameos are essential in films like this.

Amongst the many, many things wrong with the (British) The Avengers film was the absence of Diana Rigg and Patrick Macnee, whose voiceover hardly counted. You could see that the role Eileen Atkins ended up with was meant for Rigg.

they will probably bring him back in the next movie. I had been thinking that all along, he only came into the picture in Empire, so they will bring him back in the second of this trilogy. maybe he will be running a retirement colony and scamming all the rich elderly people

If Lando comes back, his ship should have the name Colt in it, and he needs to have some kind of easy on the eyes female alien sidekick.
