I have a vague recollection of Chewie's family, but that's it. I've only seen it once when I was a kid.

I remember watching this at my friend's house when it first aired. I was so excited to see it, in those pre-VCR days (well, no VCRs for most people) we were starved to see anything Star Wars show up on TV. But still, I remember being rather disappointed, except for the animated part.Comment

I tried to watch it now. It doesn't make sense...plus I haven't seen Star Wars so I can't tell what the parody is.Those who look outside dream. Those who look within awake.
Samples of my work are found here: Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness
To do list:
1:6 boots for Mathilda, 1:1 Romulan Commander outfit, Ursus helmet; Cornelius appliance
1:9 scale ape's new suit for Cornelius;Comment

Only in the 70s could this have been made.
It's so odd that this exists, since Lucas apparently hates it and had nothing to do with it, considering how controlling he is with the property is nowadays. No amount of edits will ever erase the bootleg copies of this!!!
From the pic above, this seems to have been filmed after Mark Hamill's car accident. Carrie Fisher seems higher than an X-Wing in this. The cartoon is kind of cool, but the designs are just strange.
There is no excuse for Bea Arthur and Art Carney other than, IT WAS THE 70S!!!
Chris
PS: No digs at either 'Boat' or 'Galactica', love 'em both to bits..
Yes, Hamill looks very scary. The makeup was alright, just a bit blatant and terrible lighting and way, WAY TOO MANY close-ups.Peace.. Through Superior Firepower.

>Don't watch more than 15 minutes at once, or you'll go insane....
When I got my copy a year or soi back, I wathed it twice.... back to back. Within seconds of the first viewing my brain blocked the experience and I found myself thinking "It COULDN'T have been that bad.... could it?" So I had to watch again. The second time around I found myself contemplating custom figures....

it's 2 hours of your life you'll never get back (or in my case 4 as I've seen it twice) I saw it when it aired originally and even to my young brain thought it was bad but liked the Cartoon. but as an adult It's horrifically bad. when I transfered my chs copy to dvd I made 2 versions - as aired and edited to just the parts with the "plot", and excepted the cartoon to it's own menu so I can wathc it wihtout the restComment

Ive never understood why George Lucas allowed this. I cant get pass the scene with the Wookies talking at the beginning! Totally forgetable (hopefully)Comment
