I don't get all hung up in continuity, so I never noticed whatever it is they did in Enterprise. It had to cover new ground so it didn't seem like a retread of other shows. It fleshed out the Andorians and the pig people (forget the name fight now). Explaned the different Klingons and gave us a Brent Spiner multipart episode playing Data's ancestor. Too bad it didn't go another season, Shran was supposed to join the crew.

Here goes...
TNG - It's my favorite because it made me like Star Trek...Love The Whole Crew
TOS - Didn't even watch it until I started collecting Megos...Another Awesome Crew
TAS - Mego Klingons!
Voyager - A woman as Captain? Neat! (I thought Kirk said no female Captains?)
DS9 - Meh...Their 'ship' never went anywhere, so they got a real ship...Worf rules!
Enterprise - didn't really watch it, but I liked the idea...plus cool Andorians!
Bring on more Trek! (how about Star Trek: The Even Newer Generation* - with Riker in charge, Data as 1st officer?)

From best to worst:
1) TOS
2) Animated
3) TNG
4) Enterprise (a departure from the ST norm in many ways, but with likeable characters.)
5) Voyager (Annoying characters, especially Neelix, and boring overall until the appearance of Seven of Nine.)
6) DS9 (poor stories and unlikeable characters. Only watchable once the Dominion War started.)Last edited by Bruce Banner; Nov 3, '11, 5:05 AM.PUNY HUMANS!Comment

Star Trek, Enterprise, The Next Generation, DS9, Animated Series, Voyager. TOS is the best because of the characters and to me a huge Trek fan, Enterprise has the better shows especially the story of the Augments and the Mirror Darkly. Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Uhura, Scotty, Sulu, Chekov, Khan, and all the extras will be my favorite crew forever. If the new movie counted it would be #3.Comment

I really liked the Enterprise show man, I think people would have liked it better if they had uniforms resembling the original series uniforms, kinda like the ones from the movie with George Kirk. They looked more like NASA was given a Federation Space Ship. I have all episodes and thought they were all really cool, especially the ones that continued for more than two shows. They also explained the reason Klingons had the more human like features in the original series. Hot Vulcan officer, Captain with a beagle, Country Engineer, James Bond like Security officer, Space Marines, Shran was awesome Blue Mean Dude, The Big Show was Green, Alien Doctor was cool, Khan-like people, and Awesome Klingons!!!Last edited by Trappy Trek Freak; Nov 3, '11, 9:51 AM.Comment

I rank TOS in another stratosphere from the rest. No one has been able to match the combination of actors, chemistry and writing that TOS has.
TNG matured from a very bland retread into a good show. The characters were still very stuffy and I didn't care much for them though.
I actually prefer Voyager over DS9. An attempt was made to capture the original's formula of exploring the unknown. It didn't work most of the time, but it's heart was in the right place. The characters were more interesting and likeable than TNGs, but the writing was worse. The absolute worst episode of Trek is the one where Paris de-evolves and has primoridal sex with Janeway.
DS9 bored me. I saw a few I liked... but man that show was bland. Even the war was boring.
Enterprise I could never get into. It just didn't feel enough like Trek. The oversexing of the Vulcan chick was out of line and just a way to grab viewers too. Kind of bugged me a bit. Seemed to cheap for Star Trek. I know Trek has a tradition of scantily clad women, but they went overboard with shower scenes, etc.

I didn't like Enterprise having the Vulcan's super advanced compared to us.
That went against everything I learned about Vulcan in the 80's.
This started with BERMAN'S movie First Contact and snowballed from there.
I hate Enterprise so much I don't even consider it canon.
I guess the producers themselves didn't even respect it considering how they ended itComment
