The original Star Trek for me to (and the movies with the crew). I like the stories and the actors. The Next Generation is pretty good but I dont like it nearly as much. Ive tried the others but they arent for me.

I just had a Next Gen flashback
I still remember when "The Naked Now" (second episode) premiered and I was thinking how stupid it was to have Data and Yar sleep together for the sake of an awkward not even funny moment.
Season one was really nasty ... It's actually hard to believe it didn't get cancelled after season-1Comment

Who would you rather be stuck on a starship with? Wesley always reminded me of Dr. Zee from Galactica1980.Comment

STTNG I remember going week to week watching it every Saturday night and then there would be just another gasious anomoly messing up the ship. Then the whole idea that there is a non military trained kid piloting the Flagship!!! Come On Man!!!Comment

The solution to almost every TNG crisis was modulating the deflector shield. I don't know how many times Data suggested it to Picard, and "made it so".
On a side note, the recent Big Bang Theory episode with Wheaton and Spiner made me appreciate these guys a bit more. I've heard Spiner can be a real pain, so it was fun to see him poking fun at himself.

And don't forget and the Holodeck malfunctions of the week. You know, as obviously dangerous and prone to malfunction it was, it never once crossed their minds to disable the stupid thing.Last edited by Werewolf; Nov 17, '11, 5:56 PM.You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...Comment

Nostalgia is very powerful, but cast chemistry, "new ground," and earnestness make make ST:TOS (and it's corollary animated "4th season") rewatchable for me. Classic stuff, for a reason.
Nothing--NOTHING--can top for me the triumvirate of Kirk-Spock-McCoy in terms of reeling out a story.
I've watched all the other versions, but for me they are ultimately tired variations on a theme.
I think I like Enterprise more than most here, but I can barely rewatch TNG.WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.Comment
