The Way to Eden and Turnabout Intruder. As terrifying as insane ex-girlfriends can be, nothing is worse than space hippies. Just weird concepts, and almost--but not quite--so bad they're good.

I bumped into the buck toothed Hippie from that episode at 7-11. Didn't get a chance to chat, he split quick.

& I know there are a lot of season 3 UN-fans, but I liked Spocks Brain.

As an asides, I think Uhura could take Dr Smith in a duel to the death, ( got I must be bored to post that).

Who (not the Doctor) couldn't take Dr. Smith? maybe the mangled up Captain Pike.

Well that true, perhaps Frank Burns would make a more interesting matchup.

Hard to argue with those picks.

Way to Eden is probably the worst, although Spock's Brain is notoriously known as the worst. I think it was even the Season 3 opener. Gene Coon wrote that under a pen-name. I guess everyone turns out a dud now and then.

I'm with Mike, although Spock's Brain is a close third.

Some of my favorite episodes are ones that others feel are terrible. Two of my all time favorites are The Savage Curtain and All Our Yesterdays. AOY actually had two books written as "sequels" to the episode in which Spock sired a son to Zarabeth. Those might be my favorite Trek books.

"All Our Yesterdays" is my wife's favorite Trek episode. It's one of the first one I remember seeing as a kid, so I've always liked it too. I like the Savage Curtain as well.

"Specter of the Gun" is not too maligned, but I really like that one. One of the gems of season 3. The best probably being "The Tholian Web".

My least favorite out of TOS? It's going to be tough just naming two, but I'll try.

Let me see, there was the one with Ben Finney, where he tried to frame Kirk for his death. Pretty stupid all in all.

Then there was the one with the salt vampire. Kirk came across as waaaay too cold.

As for favorites, my two favorites are 'Miri', and 'Paradise Syndrome'.

I could never get behind the episode "Wolf in the Fold" where Scotty is framed for murder. What I didn't like is that the real murderer is an alien entity who was also Jack the Ripper?? That entity was played by the voice of Piglet from Winnie the Pooh which makes the whole thing that much more ridiculous.

Spectre of the Gun is another one of those episodes that just doesn't make sense. They become cowboys and are supposed to die at the shoot out of OK Coral. And none of the buildings have interiors. Just fronts...

My favorites are City on the Edge of Forever and Whom Gods Destroy (which I swear is the prototype for the Joker/Harley relationship).

It's kind of weird how everyone has different tastes for worst episodes of Classic Trek.

Like I said I hate .... Lights of Zetar and Is There in Truth No Beauty

                            Reasons .......

                            Lights of Zetar
                            1. clearly written for young teenage girls
                            2. story is just plain boring
                            3. Crew members don't act like themselves .....
--- Scotty is a lovesick teenage boy
--- Spock would never call the Lt "the girl"
--- Everyone treats "the girl" as if they were teenage boys

Is There in Truth No Beauty
                            1. Crazy boring (oh she's blind ? ... who cares !!!)

Turn about intruder....I hated this episode, even as a kid. just plain bad

and the Children Shall Lead....another horrible episode. the villain was actually the attorney for someone involved with the show. just plain bad writing and having kids as the protagonists never works well
