Love Excalibur, whether it fits or not. And I always liked Willow. Krull was kind of sci-fi sword and sorcery.

I also liked the Harryhausen Sinbad movies

The Harryhausen Sinbad and Jason movies.
      Conan, Kull, Red Sonja
      Beastmaster
      Dragonslayer
      Reign of Fire
      Dungeons and Dragons
      Dragonheart
      13th Warrior
      Heavy Metal
      Lady Hawk
      Princess Bride
Highlander (I think the 1st movie fits this genra)
Almost all of those crappy SciFi original movies (Fire and Ice, Grendal, etc)

That's it, off the top of my head.
Will probaly think of more to add later.

I recently rediscovered this genre and I am well pleased. It was a favorite of mine as a kid in the early 80s. I'd have to say Conan the Barbarian is my favorite, followed by many of the movies already mentioned by others. The only one I haven't seen mentioned is Archer:Fugitive from the Empire, which was actually I TV show pilot I think.

I am now very eager to check out that Carradine "Warrior and Sorceress" that I don't think I've seen. I recently watched Deathsport and thought it was, well, a great piece of crap.

Put me down for Conan the Barbarian as well...absolutely LOVE that movie.

Excalibur is great too...and the very underrated Legend by Ridley Scott.

My LEAST favorite is without a doubt all three LOTR movies...I just want all the Hobbits to suffer terrible deaths.

                    Truly one of the BEST!

Does anybody ever remember that horrible piece of crap called "The Barbarians"?
It had the twin weightlifters David and Peter I think they were.

Sadly I must admit I even liked that...LOL

Not technically a movie, but the 80's BBC Robin Hood series was stellar. It incorporated some mystic elements that are missing from the traditional RH tales. I'll have to see if those are collected on DVD in region zero.

I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

The female lead is topless for the entire thing, which is likely why it wasn't on MST3K.
Haven't seen this, but looking at that poster, it seems like Carradine should have four nipples.
