I don't really have a head for fantasy in general so the majority of what I like is low rent junk like Death Stalker, Beast Master and I'm proud to say I own a VHS of this:

The female lead is topless for the entire thing, which is likely why it wasn't on MST3K.

Wow, I have a few and I am in the process of transffering some vhs only titles over to disc which I have not seen (such as Sorceress, 1982) but I can easily say that:

Beastmaster will always be a favorite or possibly my favorite

as well as the hidden comedy

Deathstalker 2 (made even better by the dvd commentary where the writers and director mock the film)
"What motivated him to throw a puppy at the Hells Angels is currently unclear,"

Starroid Raiders Dagon wrote "No Dime Store Monster left behind"

How about the Sword and the Sorcerer? The trailer for the sort of sequel just hit last week.

              Hmmmm....

              -The Sword and the Sorcerer
              -Record of Lodoss War
-the MST3K version of Cave Dwellers (*bing-bong!*)

I haven't seen "Deathstalker 2," but SO MANY people I know absolutely love it.

                Sword and the Sorcerer
                Conan the Barbarian
                Record of Lodos War
Lord of the Rings - okay no scantily clad women but still a great series, maybe the best
                Beast Master
                .
what is the sort of sequel to Sword and Sorcerer called? loved that movie, always hated that they never made the promised sequel

Deathstalker 2 is absolutely wonderful. Particularly since you have Monique Gabrielle co-starring with herself as her own evil twin.

I have a fondness for Barbarian Queen.

^^ can't imagine why you would have a fondness for her.

Aside from the obligatory Beastmaster and WIllow, I really enjoyed the Miles O'Keefe fantasy movies of the early 80's. The Ator series and Sword of the Valiant are pretty decent, but full-on cheese fest.

And I suppose, though it might be out of category, Excalibur. Awesome film.

I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

I love them all. They are usually very cheesy and lame but I am sucked in by the glorious poster art usually a boris.
                              Some of my favorites include;
                              Bestmaster
                              Conan
                              Ator the fighting eagle
                              Deathstalker 1 and 2
“When you say “It’s hard”, it actually means “I’m not strong enough to fight for it”. Stop saying its hard. Think positive!”
