I didn't know who Duke, rip chord, Destro, or cobra commander really were. Also, referring to elite soldiers as Joes was kinda cheezy in my opinion. I must say though the chicks were smoking hot!!! An inconsistancy I saw was that when Duke was dressed in his formal attire he had the rank of major on his should boards but he was referred to as Captain. The Wayans guy was supposed to be an E-8 in the army but seems a bit too young and goofy to have attained such rank. If you just sit back and watch the movie it's an ok flick.
my company first sergeant in the 90's was 37 so wayans isn't that far off the age curve

I do think that was something the movie should have kept.

The Movie was off the Hook !
Man,.. the way they were able to incorperate 6 Origion Stories into the Film,.. without taking away from the Film, in Flash Back Sequences was outstanding.

Loved When Snake Eye's 1ST SHOWED up on the Scene,.. That was 1 Bad Arse Entrance.

The Chicks were Way Hot... in Every Scene.

I loved all the over the Top scene's with the Vehicles. Thats one of the reasons JOE's were so fun as a Kid,.. you got together with your Friends, & played & everyone seemed to have something different,.. Because there were so Damn Many of them.... They did an outstanding Job putting the Vehicle Sceens together imo. Loved it.

The set up for the Sequel was Great.
                I enjoyed it alot.
SGT stone is a nod to the failed GIJOE extreme toy line

Saw today. Loved it! I actually enjoyed this more than Transormers as it was easier to follow. Despite some small stuff I thought it was great fun overall.

It was fun. The action was well handled, for the most part, which I couldn't say for Transformers 2. Also , the story was much less convoluted. Not a great movie, but a solid summer film.
