I saw it this afternoon and it was exactly what I expected. A big, loud comic book movie. I mean that as a compliment. I enjoyed it more than the Wolverine movie. It's not a perfect movie but it was entertaing. That' how I tend to rate movies.
I could have done without Marlon Wayans. Not only is he a lousy actor but he's
the hero's smart *** friend. That cliché is as old as dirt!
I grew up with the painted hair and Adventure Team Joes but I did read the Marvel comic book for the first few years. I've also collected some of the figures over the years. I know who the charaaters are etc. So I am aware of
changes made for the movie. I won't go into spoilers but I thought some changes were ok and some where wrong.
Sienna Miller and Rachel Nichols look great! For most of the movie one or the other or even both are on screen so there is something nice to look at.
In the first issue of the comic book wasn't the "true" name of the team mentioned? Wasn't G.I JOE just suppose to be a nickname for the unit?
I do think that was something the movie should have kept.Comment

Going today with the kids. Anxious to see how they portray the baroness and if the outfit is true to the figure. Im hoping so because she looked hot and in real life would be even better.Comment

He was Uncredited,.. However he Wear's the Same outfit as the Sgt. Stone Action Figure. Who imo Bears an Extreme likeness to a Flint of the Joes..., I think for some they can not use the Name..., Why wouldn't you ?
The Movie was off the Hook !
Man,.. the way they were able to incorperate 6 Origion Stories into the Film,.. without taking away from the Film, in Flash Back Sequences was outstanding.
Loved When Snake Eye's 1ST SHOWED up on the Scene,.. That was 1 Bad Arse Entrance.
The Chicks were Way Hot... in Every Scene.
I loved all the over the Top scene's with the Vehicles. Thats one of the reasons JOE's were so fun as a Kid,.. you got together with your Friends, & played & everyone seemed to have something different,.. Because there were so Damn Many of them.... They did an outstanding Job putting the Vehicle Sceens together imo. Loved it.
The set up for the Sequel was Great.
I enjoyed it alot.... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.
always trading for Hot Toys Figures .Comment
