As soon as I saw that it made me not want to see it. It looks good despite him, though. I just don't think he's that funny and why are they making it a comedy anyway???

hahahahahaha. I still haven't seen that movie. I heard it was so bad that I haven't been able to bring myself to watch it.

Yeah I was just going to say the Sleestaks looked awesome in that short peek.
This could have been a really cool Jurassic Park level movie with awesome special effects and still had enough humor thrown in for some light moments but it looks like it's just going to be a campy take on the story.

Ya know, I like Will Ferrell and, in theory, I don't mind if LOTL is a comedy/spoof movie instead of a "serious" one.

That said, THIS LOTL movie looks dumb beyond description, cynical, and worst, unfunny. I am unimpressed by anything on display in this absurd adolescent romp... with the possible exception of the Sleestaks, which look authentic though not scary in the slightest.
