Trekmovie.com has posted a scene-by-scene breakdown of the trailer, with comments, some a bit spoilerish (so be warned):

I'm game, too. But I do want to address all the "let go of the past" criticisms of some of the people criticizing the changes:
First, I don't mind change. I remember being a little unsure of the flattened nacelles when the TMP Enterprise was first presented, but to be honest, it's the best ever. in my opinion, a nearly perfect re-design that made my favorite ship that much cooler. I liked the 1701-D, never could stand the E, but this new design . . . what they've shown of it (and maybe it'll be better on screen), it's not that it's different, it's that I don't like the design -- a matter of taste that has nothing to do with *that* it's different but *how* it's different.
I'm OK with the overall look of the new uniforms (though I don't like the Enterprise "arrowhead" screened as a repeating pattern over the shirt). And the recasting . . . well, we'll see.
I don't like that it's a time travel story -- Berman and Braga overdid that enough in their tenure -- but maybe it'll work, and help them make some point in the adventure.
I am a little bugged by the fact this is supposed to be a prequel, not a BSG-style reboot -- as the Trekmovie article points out, there's a lot of stuff that seems to contradict the established history from the show (just the age-spread of the characters should prevent Chekov from serving with Kirk on this first command, for example).
Maybe they'll explain it all. But maybe just calling it a "Batman Begins" or Casino Royale"-style reboot would have been better, and freed them from discussion of "canon" to do whatever they thought was best for their new take.
