King Kong and Kong Skull Island = $1.1 billion. And that’s not even adjusting the 2005 Kong to inflation.

Sure, there are more Godzilla films...but pound for pound, Kong is King.

The cheapest King Kong production was King Kong vs Godzilla...another Japanese low budget flick, $2.7 mil Box Office in the US, earth shattering.

All of the stand alone Kong movies have been big production movies.

More does not equate to profitability.

King Kong, porterhouse steak. Godzilla, bologna, lol.

    Gee...

I guess that's why there IS a fanzine called: G-FAN that has been in print devoted to Gojira & Kaiju since 1992 and has published 124 issues to date.

G-FAN.com, brought to you by Daikaiju Enterprises Ltd. is the home of G-FAN magazine, G-FEST and G-TOUR.

and that's WHY there is such a LOVE and DEVOTION to a "reptile" that there has been over 25 G-FEST's for over 25 years and still going strong

G-FAN.com, brought to you by Daikaiju Enterprises Ltd. is the home of G-FAN magazine, G-FEST and G-TOUR.

and SO MANY PEOPLE from AROUND THE WORLD come to this annual event and just dig the "reptile" and Kaiju!?!?! WOW, what a concept!?!??

and YES! There have been 3 and a half (!) G-TOURS to Japan and possibly another one next Fall 2020.

G-FAN.com, brought to you by Daikaiju Enterprises Ltd. is the home of G-FAN magazine, G-FEST and G-TOUR.

I looked around didn't see any zines/magazines devoted in PRINT presently to Kong? Or any conventions? Hmmm...

    oh and...

    G-Fest XXVII July 10-12, 2020
    ROSEMONT, IL
    SAVE THE DATE!!!

    END THREAD!!!!

I think eating Godzilla would be a bit like eating fugu

There's probably a lot of poison parts you can't eat, and the stuff that's left will give you that same characteristic numb tingle in your mouth when eating because of the residual radiation

If eaten like fugu it would probably be prepared similar to prosciutto

    Making myself hungry
