Or... hear me out...
Kong made $566.7M.
With Godzilla (2014) and Kind of the Monsters, Godzilla made $914.9M.
"No fair, you are comparing two movies to one," you might rightly say. To which I would point out, what would even be the Kong sequel without Godzilla?!? Clearly, Godzilla is the stronger monster / franchise.

Godzilla is not going to decimate Kong. This Kong is not going to be the Kong you saw in Skull Island. This Kong will be much bigger and go through a transformation in order to be able to match up with the lizard.

It's not about who is more popular or which one I like better. Godzilla would absolutely decimate Kong. Godzilla could blast a hole right through him. Even the Toho upsized electric Kong could only fight a Godzilla to a standstill.Leave a comment:

Nah. Godzilla is a big giant stupid reptile. King Kong is a great ape with much superior intelligence.
King Kong will be undersized, physically weaker, and no radioactive flamethrower at his disposal...but his will find a way to beat the backward thinking giant gecko.
Guaranteed!
