I also loved Eugene's shopping trip, they missed an opportunity by not having him pickup a paddle ball game!
I cannot find any sympathy for Dwight. No matter what they try, he just comes across as a ****** that deserves his fate.

I love Eugene and he was great in this episode. I loved when he was talking with Negan while holding a huge jar of pickles....

I actually found a lot to like... the wives who wanted to turn on Negan. And Dwight's Wife's letter to him was actually pretty powerful stuff for a show that often tries too hard to be powerful but slips into self parody sometimes. Lack of "action", but this one was a winner.

I think Eugene has revealed himself to be truly evil.
He'll be the Mad Doctor to Negan's evil overlord.

Well, maybe he'll prove me wrong....

Btw, walkers covered in molten metal. Hm. Don't know if that will work. Won't they just melt and burn from the heat of the metal?

Now I'm off to find a copy of Easy Street. Just when you finally get that tune out of your head, they pull you back in....

Btw: Eugene's shopping trip was hilarious. I'm going to start doing that as well. "I'll take that, and that, and that..." And just walk off....

This ep was not bad. Eugene got to be funny, and it worked, and we saw some good character development from others, too.

I don't think so.. Weren't they the Wolves or something like that? Less organized, but unfriendly like the Saviors.

I too enjoyed the new episode. Eugene's dialogue is belly laugh funny, and his delivery is perfect.

I liked last night' episode. That putz could entertain me for a spin-off tv movie. Can I have lobster? Guy is a classic. I waited and watched the episode at night without commercials as it seems better for the mood.
I think the junkyard people are a cult. That would be my guess.

That was my first thought too, but no, there's dudes with them. And their M.O. is radically different than the gals.

Well, the garbage people are really silly. What's with their coordinated walk routine? Auditioning for Lord of the dance? And all identical clothes? Funky haircuts?

And in order to get rid of one psycho, Rick makes a deal with another? Good thinking.

This show will be winning Best Sitcom next year...

Have you guys seen Z Nation? That has some pretty over the top nutty stuff. I loved the rolling wheel of cheese.

Absolutely. Remind me that I'm watching a comic book. Go gonzo with it.

I'd be so up for a little more lightness, some comedy now and then. Jerry has become popular for just this reason, a breath of fresh air, ditto Ezekial & Shiva. Anything to offset the depressing tone of Carol, Daryl, and their other brother Daryl ( I mean Morgan).
And please, more pit fighters, tigers, and over the top stuff. Mad Max comic book things. The show could benefit from going all out to some extent.

Previous ep, the guy on horseback saying "who enters the Kingdom of Ezekiel?"

And Rick fighting the walker in the pit? Pure Ash in Army of Darkness.
I think that was why Rick kept smiling. He read the script and couldnt keep a straight face.

I'm still trying to figure out why there's so many British actors on the show pretending to be American.

It's like everybody on Talking Dead speaks with an English accent.

There's gotta be American/Canadian actors out there
