^ It is the reconstruction. TCM has shown it in the past. They show a lot of silent films on Sunday nights. It's not like watching the actual movie, but it gives you a good idea what it would be like.

The London After Midnight mentioned above, surely this CANNOT be the long-lost Lon Chaney/Tod Browning original??Comment

^Yeah, they REALLY need to rename that. Even "London After Midnight: A Recreation" would work. It's kind of wrong to sell it like it's the real thing, in any way. Robert Osbourne mentioned it in the intro to "Mark of the Vampire" the other night, so they do acknowledge it's a recreation from stills and the published book...but tell my DVR that!

Halloween Tree is on at 8 am Saturday oct. 26 on Boomerang. Animated adaption of the Ray Bradbury story that's a fun adventure but also a lesson on the origins of Halloween traditions from around the world.
Dear Dracula, a one hour computer animated adaptation of a very good children's book/graphic novel is on Sunday Oct. 27 at 2 pm central on the Cartoon Network. Animation isn't great, but the story is fun for children and more than tolerable for light-hearted adults. Marion Ross voices the grandmother.Last edited by madmarva; Oct 22, '13, 9:20 PM.Comment
