I'm not surprised. Am I the only one who thought Duchovny and Anderson looked bored in the trailer?

I agree this would have probably have done better in the fall against no real competition. For the general public, X-Files is a distant memory that didn't go away at the top of its game, but fizzled out slowly.

Jumped the shark when Duchovny left the show... maybe before... may have jumped with the first X-Files movie.
