I am also adding another classic Queen song - "I'm In Love With My Car" as originally sung by Roger Taylor just so show that Freddie was not the only vocalist in the group. This one should have been released as a single on it's own, instead of the B-side to Bohemian Rhapsody. Both from "A Night at the Opera".

...and lets not forget Brian May, a solid singer in his own right. Here he is singing Mercury's classic ballad, Love of my Life:

Beautiful haunting song, one of my all time favorites...and I love the audience always singing along this song...it's done everytime.

The only Queen member who didn't sing was bassist John Deacon, but like you know, he wrote some great stuff, including Another One Bites the Dust and...You Are My Best Friend.

In South America, they are simply number one.

Here's Queen playing in front of 250,000 Brazilian fans...yes...you read right...a quarter of a million live fans:

I saw them in concert during the Day at the Races Tour, in 1977. Great Show -- the Band was spot on.

WOW - I was just watching the vid clips. . .thanks for those guys. . .I litterally was getting shivers not just up and down my spine but all over in the Live Aid clip 1 with the Bohemian Rhapsody bit. . .amazing.

Of course Freddy Mercury in that clip does look like Borat's stunt double, and I can see quite easily. . .Freddy running around stage feeling quite natural in Borats Man-kini!!

Looks like Sacha Baron Cohen's gonna need to grow that Borat stache; the British comedian, best known for his film "Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan," is set to star in a biopic of the band Queen. Baron Cohen will play the band's front man, Freddy Mercury, who bears a resemblance to the comedian.

Apparently, Johnny Depp was also up for the role but Baron Cohen won by a nose (pun intended). The film will show the wild life of the gay rock-star who partied until he contracted AIDS and died at age 45.

UPDATE: Evidently, the whole thing is totally untrue.

Sacha Baron Cohen Won't Play Freddie Mercury In Queen Biopic'Borat' actor was rumored to portray late frontman, but publicist tells MTV News that reports are 'absolutely untrue.'
                      By Shawn Adler

In Hollywood, casting rumors float around every day. Well, "Another One Bites the Dust."

Reports that "Borat" star Sacha Baron Cohen will play legendary Queen frontman Freddie Mercury in a musical biopic are "absolutely untrue," the actor's publicist told MTV News.
Mercury died in 1991 from complications due to AIDS.

                        Thank God.

And anyway, Freddie was bi, not gay.

Mercury left the bulk of his estate to his girlfriend Mary Austin.

Wow. This past week we wondered about Queen and Doctor Who being overrated and what happens tonight on Sci-Fi Channel? We get them singing a Queen song on Doctor Who.
