I believe there are aliens on Earth because I am one of them. I'm from Enclave XIV, Jupiter. But don't worry, we're civilized and we won't eat you.

Seriously though, as I veer off topic a little, I always found it funny that most aliens in movies have 2 eyes, ears, etc. or they're very humanoid in shape. Aliens could be made of gases or maybe light or something like that. If there are aliens in space, I doubt they look like Kevin Spacey, although that would be cool if they did.

Aliens exist? Uh, yeah. I covered that already.
On earth? Already covered that one too.

Oh and if you visit Enclave XIV, tell them Z'Blrrr'At sent you.

Yes,... Interesting points. That I would agree with. But if IT or Whatever comes here,.. & we see it,... we are screwed. Unless ofcourse we develop some serious advancements in our Space programs,.. & we go find it.... But then again,... I'd hate to be on the ship that found some Preadators. lol.

One thing is being less than half a million miles from the moon, and another is a galaxy millions of light years away.

Completely agree with you on that one BK. . .and Spiderrogue too.

We are TOAST if any come here. We wouldn't even be considered lab rats. . .just space occupying vermin to be exterminated.

& Yes I do believe in extraterestrials . The Universe is so Vast and huge as well as unexplored. It would be stupid to think ,.. "we are the only ones" . I think though,.. if we ever see something, it will be more like War of the Worlds,... Rather than some Vulcans giving us some interaction & Technology.

We always assume that other life is going to be more advanced or intelligent. . . so I propose that yes, Life is very very likely to develope elsewhere in the universe. . .intelligent life. . . given the number of stars you would have to think so. . . however, how do we not know. . .that so far. . .we are the pinnacle, and life elsewhere is still slime, plant life or lower order beings. . .and so far we are winning the race.

We know that stars didn't ignite for about 400 millions years after the big bang. Then they started forming and it takes another billion or more years to start forming systematised Galaxies and such expanding to a degree with sufficiently low pressures or temperatures for life like structures to even have a likelihood of initial development. . .but first you have to have several cycles of star formation and death, exploding cores, which then regroup and give rise to new stars. . .to create the heavier elements such as carbon, iron etc.. .that life needs to start forming in the first place.

Then those reforming stars need time to develop planetary systems for life to develop on, and not all stars do this. Of course the larger the star the greater the pressures and the smaller the life span - some super massive stars might only last 10 million years (Better to burn out than to fade away so to speak), which may speed up the life necessary element availability.

Now some estimates place the time elapse since initial Big Bang to be 13 to 15 Billion years. Our Sun is 5 Billion and is Middle Aged with 5 billion left. We loose a few billion years at the start before the first stars develop, or form galaxies, then a few more billion for pressures, temperatures to decrease and for the necessary elements to become available from multiple Star birth death cycles.

We may very well be the first life to get this far. And our belief in super advanced beings crushing us like bugs. . . nothing more than our primeval fears, in built of the boogyman.

Yes, I do believe they exist, the universe is just too vast for us to be the only ones.

However, I don't believe they are here on Earth, the distances are just too great even for a civilization a million-years more advanced than ours.

    Exists? Yes.

    Here on Earth? No.
