I used to hate getting up to early on Saturday, because of all the agriculture shows on at that hour. I used to think that was a southern thing only.
Think B.A. Where did you hide the Megos?Comment

Nope, no snake cans. In fact I wasn't picked for anything! I was pretty mad about that then, and I wouldn't sway and sing "Kids Are People Too" at the end. All you could see was the top of my head. But I did get a good close-up during the disco segment. I was the coolest kid in my class for a whole week. Speaking of Romper Room, I wasn't on that show, but I did get to go to a good-bye party for a teacher on the show in NYC, Miss Louise in Central Park. She signed an autograph postcard for me, gave my a DooBee hand puppet, and my mom took photos of us. That was pretty cool for a 6 yr. old.

In 1976 my mom contacted WNEW about tickets for Wonderamma and the guy on the phone told her that the waiting list went all the way to 1987. To this day, I don't know if that was just some guy not wanting to help my mom on the phone or they really had such a back-log.It's all good!Comment
