yeah, i read that, too--on superherohype i think. i can't wait to see that scene on the dvd.
also, for the first time i believe, they mentioned the "super-solider serum" during a scene with blonsky and gen.ross, so they are laying in stuff for the Cap movie big time.
too bad Marvel won't have anything out next summer, they seem to be on a roll!
we just got back from it..way better than the first...
i didnt realize that betty was dating doc samson..did they ever say his name? i did catch the leader ref, tho'.....and i dont know if anyone else caught this or knew it...lou f. plays the voice of the hulk...
here is a list of the cast... The Incredible Hulk (2008) - Full cast and crew
Yeah, I just saw it again (Making it 6 times in total, I think I love it even more!)
I sure hope to see it again soon! I mean I just can't get enough of it!
I finally saw it last night. It had everything I wanted to see in a Hulk movie. I was more a fan of the TV show than any of the cartoons and the comic. I missed a lot of Peter David's classic writing I guess. I had the collection of the first six issues that was done as a paperback back in the day. Just the one for The Hulk, three for Spider-Man and a "best-of" for Cap.
I really liked Edward Norton as Banner. He nailed it. It was very much like the show - which I always thought was a lot like David Jansen's The Fugitive.
I liked how the story blended the best elements of the comic, the TV show and the update in the Ultimates. I liked how it all comes back around to the Super Soldier formula. At least here he's not as big of an ***** as he is portrayed in The Ultimates. I really didn't like how he and Betty were portrayed.
I can see him being the villain in Avengers.
Not sure who I would see as the next Hulk rogue. The Leader?

AGREED!
I can see him being the villain in Avengers.
Hulk? No, he is an Original Avenger. He is soon replaced by a thawed out Cap.
They really are working up this avengers thing - if the cap movie and thor are hits - Avengers the movie will smash box office records - I am a little worried about the thor movie. it sounds shakey at best.

with the reviews that this hulk flick is getting, you can almost count on another one...would be cool...i liked this one a lot....but i also liked the ang lee one, too...once you fast forwards through all of the slow spots...lol..just kidding...it was good for the time that it came out and it felt very "comic book-y"...
Obviously miles better than Ang Lee's version. All I can say about this movie is that Iron Man raised the bar very high. Its not a bad movie but I can't say that it had the wow factor. My son who is 17 absolutely loved it and would probably give it 5 stars, me I would say 3 1/2. If you ever want to see the Avengers movie made, I guess you will need to go and support it because ratings are everything.
Give it a try, my son might be right.
Clem...
I agree, I am also 17 and loved it. Much superior to "Hulk". It probably won't do as well in the box office as "Iron Man" though. I blame Liv Tyler. She has another movie out, "The Strangers", and apparently it sucked, so that might deter a few people from seeing it.
I thought it was good-----I haven't enjoyed a superhero this much since
SUPERMAN RETURNS or SPIDER-MAN 3.
The "juice" of the Hulk legend that I know was there---so that was good enough for me to give it a "thumbs up".
The one kinda major downside for me is that it's getting clearer and clearer
that I'm obviously not exactly cut out for superhero movies.
I don't think anything's gonna come out to top SPIDEY 1 & 2
for me----and even those didn't have "great finales" where
a neat plot twist comes and makes for a grand finish like ACTUAL
good movies are supposed to.
Not to say SUPERMAN III or SUPERMAN II are the best superhero movies
----they are far from it-----but at least their very endings----
the chemical mixture's transformation in III and the Superman's safe haven
in the crystal chamber in II were pinpoint examples I can give of a nice plot
thread synthesization making for a "smart" ending.
If these newer movies had them in force---I'd enjoy them more.
Actually IRON MAN's "Paltrow's Pepper gift heart" saving the day was real cool
and pretty much what I'm talking about-----I just didn't like the REST
of IRON MAN that much....too dry for me---I wasn't gelling with the
action---and what humor was there didn't tickle me---unlike this
HULK movie in which I laughed out loud quite a bit at the funny or wicked
lines (mostly ala TIM ROTH).
Decent movie----I'm glad MARVEL is continuing to kick butt
on their way to THE AVENGERS.
"No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris Mannix
Did you noticed how much more baddass this new Hulk sounded?
The Ang Lee Hulk was practically a bloody mute, lol.
I thought the "HULK SMASH" was comparitively hokey in the context of the
other Hulk dialogue which was more ominous in tone---but I liked the rest--
--so I let it slide.

I saw this a month or so ago. I was pleasantly surprised. Never saw the Ang Lee movie, and this particular Hulk movie I wasn't really keen on seeing, but I'm glad I did.
I love both the Hulk movies (I know the Lee film isn't very popular around these parts), and I give the recent one props for being a crowd-pleasing romp-em-stomp-em good time at the movies (which the Lee film, while brilliant!, was not).
