Good to hear all of the positive reviews...I've been very skeptical about seeing this one.

Norton & Tyler and the film's mood saved this show. I ran it for two showing tonite and got to see most of it. Leaps and bounds better than that piece of poopy by Lee. I am no big fan of TimRoth...he just rubs me the wrong way.
      CGI is still an issue.

earlier in this thread, soemone mentioned Iron Man raised the bar very high...true indeed...Iron Man...is going to give Bats a run for his money!!

There is no wow factor with Hulk..but having gone in with very low expectations, it proved okay.

Liv Tyler is hot, so that helped lol

Thank God I am not the only one, my son thought I was mad. Would it have been wrong to have given him the gremlin like ears? That would have made him look perfect.

I expected it to be good, and I was pleasantly surprised. It was great. Not Batman Begins or Iron Man great, but major superhero summer movie great. It was well paced, true enough to the comics, well balanced between the Banner character and Hulk action, and was a thoroughly good time. I'd see it again if there weren't so many movies I want to see this summer, and who knows, I might just go again anyway.

I hope Iron Man didn't raise the bar so high that people are discouraged from making this a huge success. The potential for Marvel to continue this run into the eventual Avengers movie is amazing. The final Banner scene was a great foreshadowing of where they could take Hulk from here.

The CGI was amazing, but I was impressed by the last one as well. There were some awkward moments with it, but there is just no proper way to do a modern day Hulk movie with a guy in a rubber suit.

This thing -- I mean, this Hulk -- is getting really strong reviews! No one seems to hate it, and at worst some reviews are kinda okay. I'm seeing it this afternoon and I'm getting pretty excited about it!!

I came from seeing it with my son.....THIS MOVIE FREEEEEEKIN ROCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great Nods to the 70's show. It follows more the Ultimate Avengers than classic Avengers...The CGI was great. If you are a Hulk comic fan it has nods in there too.

The Abomination worked well. I didn't care one bit that he didn't look like the comic book version. This movie easily is Better than both Fantastic Four movies,Spiderman 3 and Superman Returns. Ed Norton was great .The chemistry with him and Liv Tyler was fantastic...someone please burn Ang Lee's crap movie as far as I'm concerned that movie is now null and void. Bravo to everyone involved for finally giving the Green Goliath his due..

I thought it was great. A very fun Ride. The homage to the TV Show was just outstanding. The Way the Hulk looked,.. is everything I think the Hulk is, Since I was 4. Hulk & Batman were My most favorite Super Hero's, when I was a kid. It's just great How good this Movie was for Me, compaired to Ang Lee's Abomination.

                        Spoiler ****

What I really enjoyed was the Repeated Mentioning of the Super Soldier Progam. That was Fantastic ! That scene with the Helecopter ,.. when Hulk threw that piece of Metal at it, then protected Betty was just Unbelievable. When Hulk Slapped his Hands together to Put out the Fire was pretty Damn Neat,.. But When Hulk Screamed "HULK SMASH" I got the Geek GooseBumps,.. when He Smashed the Ground. Hulk Smashing that Police car Was very cool,.. when he used the car as Boxing gloves,.. Kinda similar to the Video Game that came outta few yrs Back. Hats Off for the Director,.. & people responsable for putting together the Movie. It was Fantastic For Me. The introduction of the Leader was very cool.

I do agree that with certain Points it does seem a bit slow..., When Ironman was slow, you had some comedy Deliverance with Downey's performance that Made The Ironman Movie not seem as slow. However,.. the new Hulk Film is MILES Above Ang's.

We just got back from seeing The Incredible Hulk reboot, and it is well worth the price of admission. If Iron Man was an "A," this was at worst an "A-" or a "B+" - and compared to Ang Lee's disastrous version, this was high art. And I loved the cameo by Robert Downy Jr. as Tony Stark.

There were plenty of nods to the past as well, including a shot of the future Doc Samson, a Lou Ferrigno cameo, a "blink and you missed it" shot of Bill Bixby on the Courtship of Eddie's Father, and even music from the TV show.

This was a great movie! Marvel has really gotten their act together, and I can't wait to see where they go from here.

And, yes, I too geeked out at "Hulk Smash!"

Saw it today with a small crowd. Good movie. I think this is what the first film should have been. With a running time just under 2 hours, I thought the movie moved along very quickly. The CGI was very good in places and less so in others. But given the subject, it worked exactly as it should throughout the movie and I found the Hulk charming this time. I thought they carved out a better relation between the Hulk and Banner and also flushed out Ross's rage against him in a more believable way. I didn't understand the gripes critics have with Tim Roth and Liv Tyler. I thought both did fine jobs with their characters. Liv does a good job of crying for her man (as she did in Armageddon) and Roth is always good playing those sadistic, deranged roles...Did anyone catch the Reseviour Dog references? Fun movie all the way around and much better under Marvel's watchful eye. Not as good as Iron Man, but I think it was made as well as it could be made. I'll buy it on DVD.
