I remember my younger brothers dad always bringing cigars in the 80's

He wanted to take me when I was 13 so i could sleep with a 21 year old my mom found out and canceled my trip

When I was in Dominican Republic, I bought a few boxes of Cuban cigars to bring back ...
They were really cheap down there.

At the time it was before 9-11, so was really easy to smuggle them through Newark airport checks.

    Today, forget it ......

Not only do they check your bags (they didn't before) they check your freak'in BODY today ...

My list is short as well. Walked to Jaurez mexico from El Paso (my wife's family is in El Paso). Short visit.

Visited Canada a few times including a week long bicycle tour of the St Lawrence Seaway.

Spent a summer hitchhiking around France (1993). I went back for 2 weeks in 06.

    I live in the USofA

So a grand total of 4.

I want to go to England next summer.

I'm actually quite proud of how many States I set foot in ......
For me, it's easier to name the States i've NEVER been to.

    Washington (state)
    Oregon
    Idaho
    Montana
    Iowa
    Hawaii
    Alaska

Once I hit the 7 above, I'll have the whole Union under my belt.

I was born in the Philippines, but have never been back since 1974.

Spain, England, France, Germany, Italy, Austria, Holland, Belgium, Vatican City, Mexico, Ethiopia (OK..so we were stuck for a 13-hour and an 8-hour lay-over)...Kenya and Tanzania.

It's about time we return to Kenya for a visit, but now there are five of us and airfare is outrageous...it would probably be $1700 or more per person and we just don't have that kind of money to blow.

When we came to the first floor, our next door neighbour was graffiti spraying the door, to make him feel more at home, I guess.

Inside, the sliding window was jammed askew in the frame. Immovable. The sink was broken. The sheets were grey. The pillow was grey from the grease of the hair of a thousand previous visitors.
A pipe was hanging over the bed, and everytime someone flushed, we heard "it" move over our heads. You can add "sh" to that word if you like.

We went to reception, and complained. They offered us another room. We asked if there was a lot of difference with the one we had, and they said "no".
We menacingly waved our greasy pillow, and finally got our money back.
    Welcome to the US!!!!

Except we were booked at the worst hotels. Dirty rooms, dirty bed sheets. My experience was horrible, each band member lost about twenty lbs because we were scared to eat the funky food bought to us in Styrofoam boxes but I did get to see a side of Europe most people would run for their lives.
