    List of Countries you've visited

Just wondering how many countries have you set foot in ........
BTW, you may count your home county.

    Me,
My list is is pretty pathetic

    USA (my home country)

Canada (been there at least 100 times and always loved every minute of it) --- except when buying cigarettes

Dominican Republic (went there on vacation a few years ago) ... Super-nice tourist area, but the rest of the country is destitute and quite sad.

    So I only have 3

    What about yous ?

About four years ago. A cheap promoter convinced my band to join up with a bunch of other metal bands to go on a European tour. They put us on the stage with hard core cookie monster bands that didn't speak English (Or at least it sounded like it) LOL

I thought it was awesome to get to go to countries like Germany, France, Sweden...etc.

Except we were booked at the worst hotels. Dirty rooms, dirty bed sheets. My experience was horrible, each band member lost about twenty lbs because we were scared to eat the funky food bought to us in Styrofoam boxes but I did get to see a side of Europe most people would run for their lives.
One room had a body outline on the dirty wood floor (I think it was put there as a prank but it was unnerving) Makes the movies Hostel look like a Disney flick. I would never do that again without an attorney present.

I think the last straw was when the promoter guy got the snot beat out of him at a gig in Germany. They literally mugged him and left him naked in a dumpster. I could go on with this story but I doubt anyone would care. PM me if you want to hear something funny I guess...

If you are in a band! Get a lawyer to read the fine print before you jump off on a so called "World tour"

            Canada -live there
United States -work there, lived there briefly
Japan -been there 7 times so far, my wife's family lives there so we visit when we can
Hong Kong -visited early 1997, just before the handover to China
Phillippines -my cousin used to work in a really swanky hotel there, so I had to visit of course
Jamaica -family trip when I was around 10, my first time on an airplane!

My wife visited a staggering amount of countries before she met me, but single Japanese women love to travel! Hell, she's seen more of the US and Canada than I have.

Belgium. The Netherlands. France. Germany. England. Wales. South-Africa. The USA (twice).

We have been planning to emigrate for quite some time now. We tried for the US, but that's sealed tighter than the Pope's chastity belt. But we're still working on it. Anybody have a spare sister I can marry?

I would love to do some more world travel but haven't in a quite a while....in fact, there are many states in the U.S. I have never visited and am embarrased to admit (I have never stepped foot in Texas for example, most of the Midwest, or the New England area)

                  Countries visited include

                  U.S. obviously
                  Canada
                  Mexico
                  Cayman Islands
                  England
                  Germany
                  France

I believe that's it for me.

                        Austria (same as above)
Romania (not so clean air and pretty poor but lovely women abound)
Canary Islands (nice beaches and cheap bars)
                        Portugal (same as above)
                        France (well, they're French aren't they )

Same for the US, I'm afraid. We were booked in the International Hotel in San Francisco. The front looked great on the internet page. So did reception.

When we came to the first floor, our next door neighbour was graffiti spraying the door, to make him feel more at home, I guess.

Inside, the sliding window was jammed askew in the frame. Immovable. The sink was broken. The sheets were grey. The pillow was grey from the grease of the hair of a thousand previous visitors.
A pipe was hanging over the bed, and everytime someone flushed, we heard "it" move over our heads. You can add "sh" to that word if you like.

We went to reception, and complained. They offered us another room. We asked if there was a lot of difference with the one we had, and they said "no".
We menacingly waved our greasy pillow, and finally got our money back.
                            Welcome to the US!!!!
