Surprisingly great coming of age Comedy Drama about a boy finding a father figure while trying to avoid his mother's jerk boyfriend. Steve Carell is great at being a dick and Sam Rockwell channels his best Bill Murray.
I just pulled this off the shelf to watch again. Its one of the few movies I own. I love the seen on the water slide where Rockwell needs a hero. I see your 7.5/10 ad raise it to 8.5. I'm a sucker for this kind of semi-indy sap.

I have zero problem with it except I wasn't aware it was based on YA novels. Had I known that I probably would have still watched it but kept my expectations at a lower level.

The movie simply caled " Z " always looking for creepy horror movies, this is one from 2019, started of good, and kinda fizzled out at the end, Id say the rating of 5/10 on IMDB is fair.

Yeah it's a wild ride at the end.
It was like ordering two split half chickens from Boston Market...

Well acted, nicely shot and hey my friend did the make up but it's based on a series of YA novels and well, i don't think i was the intended audience. This is where Harold from Mego wave 8 is from and I was just curious.

    It’s a Western-Horror flick.

I dare you not to look away during the last 30 minutes. Holy crrap.

There’s one scene where, well, never seen anything like it...

    That’s all I’m saying...

Enola Holmes. I thought it was a fun, quirky little movie. Stars Mille Bobby Brown from Stranger Things, Henry Cavill and Helena Bonam Carter. 8/10 it's one of those movies that breaches the 4th wall throughout
I came here to give it the same rating! Myself, my wife and daughter all enjoyed it!

^Yeah, I was not a fan, either. Smith later said he understood Conrad's displeasure with it and felt he should apologize.

The Wild, Wild West (Will Smith)

IMO this movie doesn't deserve the bad reputation it has.

It's not and Oscar worthy film, but it's entertaining enough and kinda fun.

    I give it 2 1/2 stars

The Spell (1977) made for TV movie

I can't believe I've never seen or even heard of it before.

Decent for a TV movie... kinda rips off Carrie

"Rambo-First Blood, Part II", and "Rambo III"- They still hold up, although II may be the better of the two.
