    What is in YOUR attic?

Providing that you have an attic what do you have or think you have in it?

For me I know I have a "bunch" of collectibles. There are Mego's, HotWheels, Gi Joes, Star Wars and stuff that I know I forgot about having. Kind of have my interest peeked now wondering what I do actually have.

I was recently inpsired by another thread reading someone's recent attic find here at the Museum so I thought that it would be neat to start a new thread on it and open up this topic in general.

I hope that is not the case. IF it is the case I hope that they do not eat anything you may have had of value. Especially as it pertains to Mego's.

Mego stuff - lots of spawn stuff - christmas stuff - old kitchen table - other assorted junk.
I could use a small dupster for a bunch of the junk.

naw here in Miami most homes don't have an attic you could actually go up to.It's just one of those little square doors and it's pitch black,no one stores anything in there

I would think the best surprise mego finds would be in attics that have had the same family in them since the early 70s.

We moved from my childhood house in 1982 and from that house in 86. I would have thought that would have been the end of any cool finds BUT my mom surprised me one visit in the late 90s with the find of my pocket heroes batman. Not a rare or expensive piece but you would have thought i struck gold when i saw it. he had been missing since 1980 or so.

my mom moved 3 times between 87 and 96. i moved 6 times. needless to say the odds of any new finds or not at all likely.

I finished my current attic when i moved in and that is where i built shelves for my megos - so they are all in my attic! about 120 figures 4 vehicles and one playset.

Yeah, I forgot to mention that stuff as well. I totally forgot about that stuff as I was more focused on the real good stuff (Mego's) at the time.

                        I would tend to agree.

I can just imagine the feeling of surprise that you had when you seen your long lost figure. REunited and it feels soooo good.

Now I would say that is one heck of a Mego find.

                          I have nothing but insulation.

I don't feel comfortable storing things up there that go through such extreme temperature changes throughout the year
